In 2012, I obtained the Cambridge CELTA (Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages). Since then, I have taught language and communication skills to young adults at Singapore Polytechnic and Ngee Ann Polytechnic. Additionally, I have tutored for undergraduate courses in the National University of Singapore, and the Singapore University of Social Sciences.
I have also conceptualised and delivered workshops in Javanese Gamelan for a variety of contexts, including introductory sessions for the public, lessons for high school music students, and, in 2022 and 2023, a five session workshop for students in the Master of Arts (Contemporary Southeast Asia) programme at the National University of Singapore.
